“Strengthen scientific and technological development in fields of strategic importance for Costa Rica”
The CRUSA Foundation works with different partner institutions to promote creativity, scientific research and emerging technologies through innovation and development (I&D) programs.
As part of a strategy to formalize its cooperation links with institutions outside of North America, in 2007 the CRUSA Foundation signed a cooperation agreement with the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) of Spain, with the aim of supporting joint research projects carried out by Spanish and Costa Rican scientists. In addition, CRUSA continues to work with various organizations to enhance the efforts of the scientific community throughout the American Continent, by means of a virtual collaborative platform.
