Strengthening Human Capital for Development
The Costa Rica U.S.A. Foundation for Cooperation (CRUSA) has coordinated with academia, the Costa Rican government and the productive sector to define priority areas for specialized training: renewable energy, energy efficiency, integrated water resources management, and agriculture and Food Industry.
Within these areas, the CRUSA Foundation promotes capacity-building by granting partial scholarships for postgraduate studies in the United States. The grants are offered to students in the last year of their undergraduate studies. CRUSA also offers support for professional internships in priority areas.
